Kratika Sengar began her acting journey in 2007 with the series Kasautii Zindagii Kay and followed with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2008. She then joined another Balaji Telefilms production, Kya Dill Mein Hai, in 2008. Later, she made a brief guest appearance on Sony TV’s comedy show Bura Na Mano Holi Hai. She also participated in the reality show Lux Kaun Jeetega Bollywood ka Ticket.
In 2009, Sengar took on her first leading role in Zee TV’s Jhansi Ki Rani. She also made a cameo appearance in Balaji’s show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. In 2010, she had an episodic appearance in Aahat. Returning to television in 2012, Kratika starred in Zee TV’s Punar Vivah alongside Gurmeet Choudhary. The show concluded on 17 May 2013. During her role as Aarti, she featured in Qubool Hai to promote her show. In January 2014, she made a special appearance in Star Plus’ show Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera. Later that year, she joined the cast of Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev, which ended before long.
