Prabhas completed his education at DNR School in Bhimavaram and holds a B.Tech. degree from Sri Chaitanya College, Hyderabad.
Prabhas rose to fame for his role in the epic movie Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), directed by S.S. Rajamouli. The film went on to become the fourth highest-grossing Indian movie of all time. Prabhas Career
In 2015, Prabhas gained fame for his roles as Shivudu/Mahendra Baahubali and Amarendra Baahubali in the film Baahubali: The Beginning. It became the fourth-highest-grossing Indian film and sparked a pan-India film movement. He reprised his role in the sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), which became the first Indian film to gross over ₹1,000 crore (US$155 million) in just ten days. Prabhas received the SIIMA Award for Best Actor – Telugu for his performance in the film.
The success of Baahubali made Prabhas a popular actor across Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages. In 2019, he starred in the action thriller Saaho alongside Shraddha Kapoor, which earned over ₹433 crore despite unfavorable reviews.
